More Than Just a Summer Program
Motivated pre-college students who attend the Stanford Pre-Collegiate International Institutes will be intellectually challenged, and they will develop skills in problem solving, critical thinking, collaboration, creativity, and innovation. The program helps to foster a passion for intellectual pursuit. The International Institutes provide an American college-life experience and helps students understand the admissions process for U.S. colleges and universities.
One of the highlights of the program is the opportunity for students to interact with other students from around the world and learn about their cultures. Each student will also have the chance to share information about their home country and culture through various organized activities.

From Our Students
“The culture experienced here at Stanford and indeed in Silicon Valley. Throughout our lessons, the idea that one does not succeed with one try and that failure is the key to success here are constantly reinforced. The fact that failure is ‘tolerated’ and even prized here is truly an eye-opener and a valuable experience I'll take home.”
—Singapore Student, 2015
"What I liked the most about this experience was the fact that I had the opportunity to meet amazing friends and counselors. The bonds we made were completely touching and strong. Also, the teachers and classes were incredible! They were totally different to what we have back at Chile, so it was pretty amazing to experience this new way of learning."
